Dude.... you're in my yoga area.

It is getting late. I am getting tired.

You American readers will be sitting down, enjoying a nice Dinner whilst reading this so, for the sake of us Europeans, let me crack on.

Brandon was speaking to me about excuses for being late. Most awesome ones?

Reason for lateness: DAMMED BUSES!

Rating: Bad spelling, bad excuse.

Reason for lateness: I was playing C.O.D.

Rating: Honest.

Reason for lateness: South Korea.

Rating: Awesome.

Reason for lateness: I was helping an old man find the Doctor's surgery and I fell and hurt my knee.

Rating: Re-inventing a classic. A+

Ch'yeeeeah.

P.E

Hated this period.

Not because of what we were learning, but because it was TOO COLD!!

Give you an idea of how cold it was, I was sitting up in fitness with my Winter coat on.

I sprawled out on the mat, if i'm being honest, I was going to go to sleep, Linzie caught me...
LINZIE: Check's you, looks like you're in your bedroom or something!
ME: *quickly repositions self* I'm not in my bedroom... I'm doing yoga.
MEGAN: ... Looks wrong.
It might have... looked... as if I was...

Humping the mat... Let you chew on that idea for a second.

Second over, moving on....

Jaye was then going to sit in front of me, I stopped her and said
ME: No sitting in my yoga zone!!
She was actually away to sit elsewhere, bless, I'm like:
ME: Noooo! Jokes, c'mon.
It's amazing how friendly us 5th Year's are in all honesty, we will stop eachother in the corridor, bear hug them and have a conversation with them before toddling along to our next class.

Took me and Lauren 10 minutes to get to Art on Wednesday because of this.

Wouldn't change my year for the world though.

ART

Emmmmmm... I don't think I did anything in art on Wednesday.

I suppose, I made leaves for my little flower, was looking pretty awesome, I was proud (Notice use of past tense, not feeling so great about that flower now, more on that in the next blog)

DOUBLE ENGLISH

We did work again, useful, but so boring!

We got a new teacher, Mr Murphy, he's incredibly familiar but I couldn't tell you where I've seen him before.

He's quite a good teacher, but he goes on and on and on and on, bleeeeeeh.

Sean and Stewart knocked on the classroom door, Mr Murphy opened it, they looked at eachother, mumbled something to Mr Murphy and just walked off.

They are in my class.

Worst skivers ever? ;)

They got grassed up. Uncool. They came back around half way through 4th period. Was there really a point?

We started writing an essay, I got bored though, so I started falling asleep. Saved by the bell again.

Linzie, Megan and a couple of others were singing Grease Lightening so I got outta there.

I really dislike the musical for some reason... seems to cheese to me.

Can't stand too much cheese.

DOUBLE BIOLOGY

We went in and what's the first thing that Linzie pointed out?

The fish tank was FILTHY.

Fair dues, it really was looking disgustingly grimy.

Granted. It wasn't that bad. For one, you could actually see the fish.

We were doing the heart valves stuff like that. Was pretty good. Really just having a chat with Abie and Linzie. Claire wasn't feeling too good, bless her, she blamed the food in the hot bar.

Don't blame her.

Hehe, paninis and sandwich's are amazing but never EVER try the Meatball melt.

One of the most disgusting things I have ever tasted.

Abie came in quite near the end actually, she had her Y.P.I meeting so she was away at that.

She was telling us how Stagecoach is cheaper than first bus.

She gave the bus driver a pound and, this is her words, not mine:
ABIE: Yeah, he just whapped oot his till and gave me my change!
We were in fits of laughter by the time she had finished that sentence... Dr Robertson looked a little embarrassed and slinked away. N'yaaaaw.

Anyways, moving on.

She came back from town with a Coke citrus zest

 Zesty.

She then told us that she attempted in making her own version, with a glass full of coke and a WHOLE LEMON.

When asked if it tasted good, she just laughed and shook her head.

I can imagine the taste... *shudders*

Speaking of Abie, she was meant to be doing her NAB on Wednesday, she didn't though.

She held the NAB in her hands and Abie asked her if she could just... oh, I don't know... leave them on the table?

Mrs Duncan looked shocked. Abie was NOT offering her chocolate, this plan would NEVER work!!

So Abie taked out a fiver and Mrs Duncan says to take in chocolate next time.

Whap oot the galaxy boys, we're going in.

Had to go back home and then rush back into school to do Grease photography.

Didn't go to well.

Mostly because it didn't "go" at all.

Not complaining like, they were all very busy and the music classroom was way to cluttered for me not to get right in there with a ridiculously low aperture to blur out all of the clutter in the background.

And I felt way too much like I was "in the way" already.

Upside? I got to watch them re-hearsing the first act.

So found out two things:

One: Ms Rankin is a very good director. She manages to squeeze the best performances out of everyone and strikes the perfect balance between praising her performers and criticising them.

Two: We have some REALLY good actors and actresses in our school.

Not even kidding you there, all of the Pink ladies are great. Especially when their feeding off of eachother, something else entirely :)

Sophie Brown's performance really stood out to me, I heard from Billy that she was a good actress  but wow! Didn't think she'd be that good!

She really manages to channel Rizzo's characters through her performance. AND she's a good singer.

Some kids have it all, huh?

But, hey, their all good! Some of the scenes are Laugh out Loud material, some contain great acting, but right now? It's all still a bit of a shambles.

Understandable! They still have another month and a half till they perform. No costumes or set yet, so decent! Well done!

Small pause.

Looks like I'll be out of town for about a week and a half.  So, The updates will resume then.
Hopefully I can comeback and get Terminus all finished up.

The Non-Event

Well I've finally managed to limp through the first 10 episodes of The Event, I kept hoping the show would get better, there was plenty of running around but honestly nothing much actually happened, I believe the show is on hiatus until next year and based on the half-assed cliffhanger I'll be shocked if many viewers return when the show does, I seriously doubt I'll be one of them.

Humble beginnings

I have been working on my Circle figs lately, so, I though I'd show what I have finished so far. Hopefully Kaya will be added to the mix soon.

Tubaloooo!

Sometimes, you start the day with expectations that it is going to suck.

And, on rare occasions, the day will rock and prove you wrong.

This was one of those days.

I swear, listen to music as you're getting dressed, makes the world a better place.

Was hilarious on the bus to school this morning! We were all talking about Corrie's explosive episode last night. And how bad it was.

Don't get me wrong, we all loved it, but the scenes were just so overdramatic!

It was the tram that came over the bridge that made us all cringe. Pretty bad graphics, I said that it looks like a slinky flipping over.

Also, when Molly ran into the shop, haha, was like the starting point for a marathon!

Shouldn't laugh, her character dies. But still, LOL!

Let's crack on with it then?

P.S.E

Ahhh maaaaaaaaan. Where to begin...

We were meant to be doing Y.P.I again, but my groups problem?

It's like, the 6th week in and we still haven't even phoned our charity.

So, Mrs Anderson isn't best pleased with us.

She asks us if we've made any progress, Greg tells her no and she tells us to go to the Science Lecture theatre and "Think about whether or not [we] are going to participate"

Eeek.

So we sat in the science lecture theatre. We're such a bad "team", we were sitting at entirely different parts of the room!!

Haha, it was alright though, other people in our class wafted in and out to see what we were thinking about. So we were very vocal about out opinions. At least I was:
  1. This is not a VOLUNTARY program. We are forced into doing this initiative, whether we want to or not.
  2. More charities, and therefore, more causes, would benefit from 5th year pupils creating one large group and FUND-RAISING for the charities, not just making up a stupid presentation.
  3. Most of our year is doing our charity, Befriend a child. So 4/5 groups would be wasting their time
  4. There is NO way we can win this, as it is not just dependant on your presentation, but also your team work skills. And we have zero.
Why does she have such faith in us anyways?

She looks at us and sees heroes. She sees supermen and superwoman, masked crusaders, she does not see the Clark Kent's or the anti-heroes. She does not see the villain that we see when we look in the mirror. Let her keep her perceptions I say...

She came through and elected me as "spokesperson" for the group.

Faaaaaantastic.

0/5 of those points I brought up were discussed. What's worse? She used the term "Extremely disappointed". EVEN worse?

Lauren was wanting to speak to her, so she turns up behind her, opens her mouth, realises that we are getting into trouble, flaps her mouth in confusion for a little bit and then starts smiling.

So I almost burst out laughing, when Mrs Anderson was being DEADLY serious.

Gaaaaaaaaah.

HIGHER BIOLOGY

We were learning about the reproductive system.

Yaaaaaaay! Everyone's favourite, embarrassing topic!

When you are sitting next to Abie, this topic will ALWAYS be fun. She's so giggly, I have a feeling I'm gonna be in fits a HELL of a lot of the time.

We had to fill in this sheet on the "Male reproductive system".

Which, is very difficult! But Mrs Duncan assured us it's easy...

Compared to the Female reproductive system that is.

Well, our class decided to make it easier to understand.
MILTON: Anyone know what the peanut's called?
MRS DUNCAN: Peanut? *laughs*
ABIE: Oooh, what about the wee tube? Or the... Semny-fur-us tubaloo?
ME: Cute! D'yah mean the Semin... tubule?
Well, do what you wanna do right?

Then trying to define the scrotum? Ahhh....
MILTON: Isn't it just to keep the testes in? Like a stylish man bag?
And then we got onto trying to answer the questions... So it went a little like this.
MRS DUNCAN: What is the first one then?
ABIE: Penis.
Everything is quiet.
ABIE: Penis.
Still, nothing.
ABIE: Penis.
MRS DUNCAN: So....
ABIE: Is it Penis?
MRS DUNCAN: Yes.
Haha, take your time toots! It was after that though, that was crazy.
STEWART: Urethra!
KELBIE: Scrotum!
ABIE: Penis!
ME: Testes!
Sounded like a class full of tourettes.

Love how our Head teacher walked in at that point too. Haha, love our class.

ART

Now I loved this period of art (even though Kelly was still skiving...)

Was sent onto the computer to find out how to make roses out of fimo for my perfume bottle stopper.

After a double period, this is the end result

So proud!!

And we found a HUGE stash of Fimo in the art department, some even had glitter in them!

This is a HUGE deal for us, we thought the department was broke. Let us have it ;)

People were trying on Liam's mask, so cool, got huge flames coming out of it and everything.

And Greg was still failing at photoshop. Haha...
GREG: How do you make it bigger?
KRISTINA: Make WHAT bigger, there's nothing there...
Lunch was basically just organising Christmas days out. No biggy.

So it's either Jimmy Cheungs or Prezzo and then the cinema for the amigo day out and the day after that, Bowling, dodgems and a pizza.

Perfect. Can't wait till that now!

Halle was telling me how awesome the paninis were... Totally made me want to go up and buy one. I'm a sucker for word of mouth advertising.

MATHS

We had Mrs Young, she is SOOOOOO cute! She really is adorable!

She's such an innocent little thing, but know how to have a laugh and she's had a hip replacement. N'yawwww.

She couldn't even reach the top of the board because of her height <3

BUT, everyone was taking advantage of her and just not paying attention and having a chat.

Me included, but I listened to her when she teaching, yahknow, Respect.

THEN got to eat some of Calum's skittles. Herooooo!

Was hilarious though, for half of the period, all you hear is sucking noises, you turn around and all you see is Calum and Sophie sucking up skittles from the table without touching them. Hahaaaaa, little nutcases! <3

Sophie spilt about half of her anti-septic hand cream over her trousers, so she wasn't too chuffed about that.

I was telling them about my disturbing experiences in Florida with the dolphins. I was only eight, and was REALLY little so I had tiny arms, so I was leaning over to try and clap a dolphin, you know, because it was about a metre away from me. I was within 5cm of it and y'know what it did?

It laughed at me and swam away.

Damn dolphin.

Calum was expressing his love for Shamu. Who doesn't love Shamu?

Just a really good period of maths tbh, I love Sophie, Calum and Dougal, they make maths bearable!

Everything seemed to happen AFTER school.

Lewis was 10cm away from getting run over.

Not even joking, he saw a bus (And I'm sorry toots, but it had PASSED the bus stop by the time you started running for it! There was no way you were going to catch it) and he starts running for it.

What does he do? Step right in front of a moving car and then carries on running, trying to his balance.

NUT!!!

So, after a nice chat with Andrew, we decided to head back to the school bus stop, and Lewis made me run for that too (Was laughing so much I thought I was going to swallow my Soother) and y'know what?

We could have walked CRAWLED there and still caught the bus.

We had some foreign bus driver, he was so picky, made sure that your bus pass was in date, even used his door as a barricade so people that didn't get approval didn't get passed.

School was let out half an hour early so we could get home before traffic starts getting bad, and what happens?

He says he CAN'T leave until twenty past three.

FML!

Not only that, Kyle had to direct him cause he didn't know where he was going!

People on the upper deck were getting a bit crazy (crazier more appropriate?) and started chucking bottles, sweets and wrappers down the stairs.

Then this liquid came crashing down, like it was poured, and splashed about a lot... then it STUNK of pee...

We think someone peed on the bus... like, whap it oot, peed on the bus.

Ewwww...

Know what Laura says?

LAURA: Smells like... gravy?
ABIE: Remind me not to come to YOUR house for Christmas Dinner then!
Ahhhhh Pisto.

Just had a brilliant day to be honest, how was your day?

Aeon Flux

From a production design viewpoint this is an interesting movie but otherwise Aeon Flux was a mess.

We learnt something in English? MIRACLES DO EXIST!

Woke up to another Christmas movie (told you my Mum was addicted!)

She had the day off today, I wasn't quite so lucky.

So, as she was toasty by the heater, snuggled up and watching Christmas movies, I was trying not to fall on my bum (very icy today).

The chihuahua graters (Boots that look like chihuahuas but feel like graters, not graters that are used on chihuahua's) helped me massively.

But as soon as we walked off of the bus, everybody was hanging on to each-other.

Not sure why we all do that, it's not like their going to save you if you fall, most you can hope for is dragging em down with you so you don't look so stupid.

Sara had to use her hands to stop her from face-planting the ice, she was almost sprawled out on the ground. Twice. Bless!

Abie said that if she is about to fall, she starts flapping her arms like a bird. As if she was going to fly. Hehe, that kid is adorable.

Started having a coughing fit in Redgy too, not good!

Linzie treated me as if I had swine flu (awww, remember that? And how everyone thought the apocalypse was coming early and we'd end up looking like zombies?! Good times.)

Nice to have friends like mine eh?

DOUBLE ENGLISH

That's what I'm speaking about, Mrs Fulton!!

We learned about TWO poems!!

Both Carol Ann Duffy (great poet), one is called "Shooting Stars" and the other one is called "War Photographer".

I was quite moved by one of the lines from "Shooting Stars"...
"Sister, if seas part us, do you not consider me?"
Was all about war and the horrors of the holocaust, real deep stuff. Puts your own problems in context.

Mrs Fulton has a brilliant reading voice.Very emotive :)

The next period, we were creating our plans for our first proper essay (Yeah, we're in December, ridiculous time to be doing a first essay!!!)

We had a really strange teacher though, he wore a funky tie and made bad jokes...

That we laughed at for some odd reason, but that's not the point.

He was doing the register and he stopped at Billy's name...
MR STRANGE: William? Where's William?
CLASS: William?
MR STRANGE: Oh, must be tired from last night's X factor.
CLASS: What are you talking about?
MR STRANGE: We are talking about Will.I.Am right?
Hmmm...

He asked us to be quiet too, but most of the class were NOT, so he started listening into convos.
MR STRANGE: You were talking about applications... apps.... for your phone.
STEWART: No... We weren't
MR STRANGE: Really? Because I saw you showing him your iPod under the table, at least, I hope it was your iPod and not something else.
STEWART: It was something else.
MR STRANGE: I think the iPod would have been more interesting.
Then he was trying to bribe us to be quiet!
MR STRANGE: If you are quiet, I'll print this [holds up a Smiley face stamp] on your work. If you're not quiet, I'll print it on your forehead.
MEGAN: Were you a Primary teacher?
MR STRANGE: No, can't stand them!
At least he's honest.

He was also raking through Ms Shaw's drawers... emm... I mean cabinets (Just to be clear).

Got a muffin at break and talked about her...

Lactating dairy products other than milk? I'm game.

With her...

Bless, she's such a cutie pie!

Yeah, Katy Perry is going on sale, and she's coming to the AECC!!

It was on the Down low until evening express ruined the surprise.

Grrrr.

DOUBLE HUMAN BIOLOGY

We were learning about the heart valves and what's in the blood.

And making fun of each-others shoes, but that's not the point.

Would you say "Neil Armstrong called, he wants his boots back" is a good burn?

Yeah.... me too :D

Just having a good discussion about X factor, I'm a celebrity and Christmas shopping with Claire really.

OH! And having a discussion about Katy Perry, The Script, comedians and One tree hill with Abie and Linzie.

Milton and Aaron wiped the floor with Kelbie's blazer while he was sent out of the room (Literally).

And I passed my NAB, well chuffed, 36/40? YES PLEASE!

Don't know how I managed that, Sure I got a few more wrong, ahh wells. I passed! That's all that matters.

Well... not ALL that matters. But... ahhhh you know what I mean.

Went into town with my Mum after that, had a good time! We were looking for Christmas presents but it didn't really work out (I'll have a look on Thursday!)

Mum bought me my Practical Photography magazine, A cheese, chicken and BBQ toasty and a Toffee Nut latte from starbucks.

It was heavenly. Mum agrees with me.

She almost went back to get to get her own one.

Bumped into Myke Black, he was busking, he was singing "I'm yours" by Jason Mraz, he should really record that version, it's amazing! He's so talented.

Again, I direct you to this link because he DESERVES to be listened to WARNING: This cover will make sweet, sweeeet love to your ears.

Also, figured out which camera I'm asking "Santa" for.

Doo do doooooo!!

Sexual beast eh?

Mum was having a look around town for clothes to, had a brilliant day with her :)

Got back to my house, and you know who phoned?

Okay, you don't.

MICHELLE!

Haven't spoken to her in AGES. Always feel guilty about that.

But Michelle, Jennifer and I are going to town on Thursday to go Christmas shopping. Hehe, brilliant!

Already bought Michelle's prezzy.

NOTE: That is not Michelle.

Just need to get Mum's, Dad's, Chloe's, Halle's, Secret Santa's and Lewis' :L

So not making progress.

Ah well.

How are you all doing?

How's the Christmas shopping going?
