I hope everyone had a great time on Hogmany/New Year's day and at least remember half of what happened!
The New Year's resolutions are coming in thick and fast, and (as always) it's the same three things:
- Quit smoking
- Lose weight
- Do more exercise
Be imaginative people! Have New Years resolutions like these!
"Think of a password other than 'password'."
"Perfect my Gregorian chant."
"Come up with a better resolution that this resolution."Hey, each to their own. If you make a resolution that actually sticks, congratulations! A scientist will be round to your house in a few short minutes to slap the "ENDANGERED!" stamp onto you.
You've got something in common with
these dudes now. Feel proud.
If you can't stick to your resolutions, then don't worry. You're part of the 99% of society that find it impossible to stick to resolutions.
So, I made some aims instead.
Main aims
- Pass driving test
- Pass exams
- Get a job
- Learn another language
Daily/monthly aims
- Go to the cinema at least five times a month
- Blog daily or at least three times a week
- Do project 365 again
- See Michelle, Megan, Kristina and Kelly at least once a month
- Spend more time with Halle
- Be vegetarian for a month
Other aims
- Have a beach party
- Set off a paper lantern
- Send a message in a bottle
- Go to and review at least ten gigs
- Tie-dye with Megan
- Buy random presents for people to show them how much they mean to me
- Go to another Paramore concert
- Get a hug from at least one member of We Are The In Crowd
- Meet someone truly amazing
- Go on a road trip
- Play yahtzee with Paramore
- Finish the "You Are Not Useless" project
- Write a whole film script or book
- Give blood
The good thing is, I've already got an idea for a books plot. In fact, It came to me in a dream last night. Crazy how things turn out, huh?
Anyways, you'll be hearing a lot more from me in the coming weeks! I'm away to go spend a day in the cinema with one of my best friends, Halle.
