Technology for the cause

Today social networking is effortless. We are able to connect to hundreds even thousands of people instantly. It's no wonder that charity's and other awareness groups have turned to social networking.  Technology enables charities to easily and quickly distribute information regarding events, collect donations, conduct sales and spread awareness.
There is one charity that is very dear to my heart. The Michelle Cares Melanoma foundation. This foundation was started in memory of my best friend who passed away from Melanoma skin cancer. The charity was started by her husband and two friends.

The website has recently launched which is why I want to share it. They will be sharing information regarding melanoma, protection and prevention as well as events to raise money and awareness.
