Infinity: Morat Agression Force!

Finally had time to finish up the original starter for my Combined army, and also busted out the Zerat Hacker at about the same time! Had the Zerat sitting on my desk, just bare white primer for a long time. I was really struggling with color placement on her, and since Infinity figs are so clean, you really have to think about that before you start slingin the paint.

Scarab helped me immensely with the color choices and placement, otherwise I don't think she'd be even close to finished yet. The Vanguards were pretty easy as I had already finished one a while back when I first got the box set.

More pics when you click!

Here is a pic of the entire force to this point. Soon to be joined by  kurgat assault engineer with Autocannon!

May Mini Swap... Scarab painting for Chevy - Gogo Marlene

Well I get to paint this fig for Chevy. He was so kind and gave me a limited edition fig so there is no pressure. I am painting 'Gogo Marlene' who is a Civvie for Infinity. He would like the dress blue and the boots white. Everything else is up to me. So far the blue is done and the flesh along with the purple trim. Not sure what to paint the hair color so if you have any suggestions let me know. Anyway here is the progress shot.

Hope you enjoy. Comments and questions welcome....
Cheers,
John...

Answering the challenge of the Panda

When the Happy Panda roars, the quaking can be felt through the forest and no stalk of bamboo is safe.

In response to the challenge set down by aforementioned member of Geek Garage I have this set as my target army to be fully painted.
As you can see I'm off to a good start with majority assembled, cleaned, and primed.
This is a 250 (3.5SWC) Haqqislam list for the game Infinity.

Grim's Mini Exchange Entry

Well as Wild Chevy mentioned we did a nice little mini exchange over on our local forum... www.salmondworks.com/forum ...  We had a great time.  I was given this awesome Infinity fig to paint and I'll have to say I had a freakin' blast painting this guy.  Hoping that this mini exchange will become a regular thing.  Annual or Bi Annual.  Who knows you just might see some time of mini exchange here on the blog depending on demand of course.  Anyhow... enough of my babbling.  On with the pictures!

Pardon the Panda

So I was asked by the founders of this blog to be a contributing member and I happily accepted! I've learns so much from these guys and hope to share more with you all.

I started my war gaming experience like many with Warhammer 40k back in 4th edition but have since moved on to other games. Primarily Warmachine/Hordes but also own forces for Infinity, Malifaux, Warlord and probably quite soon a Dark Age force.

Can't wait to share my world with you!

Old and New...

I thought I would throw up a diorama that I made a few years ago and entered in the Privateer Press painting contest at Gencon. I was lucky enough to take second place in my category at the time. It was tons of fun seeing the other miniatures in real life. You see pictures but it does not compare to seeing something in real life. They were amazing. I hope to do it again someday. It was tons of fun.

This is a board I am creating for Infinity the Game. This going to be an urban board and what you see here is the sidewalk with a panel removed for maintenance. I just want to add character to the board itself without anything else on it. I am hoping to get some time here in the near future to start working on it again. I have these visions but I am going in so many different directions right now. Well if you have any questions please ask. Always a pleasure.
Cheers,
John...

Infinity: Charontid

I have been playing some games of Infinity lately, really just some battle box games to get the feel for it. Anyway, this guy was whooping up on people so, I thought he deserved to be painted.
I've really been enjoying painting the Combined army figs, as they are a nice change of pace from the stuff I normally work on.
Here he is with a few in progress pics as well. Thanks for looking.

Daturazi Finished

So, to start things off on a better foot in October, here are some (finally) finished pics of my first Infinity fig.
I wasnt 100% sure about all the bright colors coexisting on this fig all at one time but I am rather pleased with him after all is said and done.
There ought to be lots more Morat to come as they are pretty fun to paint, and now that I have a color scheme nailed down it should be a ton easier to get them rolling out.

Thanks for checking him out.

Daturazi W.I.P.

Got a little done on this guy, and thought I'd show the progress. Unfortunately, these later summer months just so happen to be my busiest at work. So, getting this far on him was actually a bit of an accomplishment.
Now that I've started on him he should progress rather quickly.

I am also very open to color suggestions for this guy. I plan on doing his chest a deep gray color but I am at a bit of a loss as to how to paint the arms and legs.

Small update 8/30

On the Bench

I noticed I have a bunch of work in progress figs at the moment, so I thought it high time I show some behind the scenes progress. Hopefully everything here will be done soon, as it mostly part of a forum painting vow for July.

The Organist of Mid-nor will be the first down followed (hopefully) by the extreme Juggernaut
